The fibers used in Navigator paper are virgin fibers, so they are at full performance capacity. Recycled fibers have already undergone several recycling processes and their cell walls have worn down, which means they don’t perform as well and result in lower quality paper, particularly in terms of stiffness and bulk.

Typically, fibers can be recycled 5-7 times, maximum. Navigator paper also benefits from special surface treatment which minimizes dusting and consequently increases your printer’s lifespan, unlike recycled papers.
