Good runnability is ensured by several paper attributes. For small printers, the most important are stiffness and thickness. A paper which is too stiff won’t move easily through the printer rolls. Usually, stiffer papers will run better trough laser printers. Thickness is also an important quality because average printers are not suited to running many different paper thicknesses. They are designed for standard thickness, so if you try printing on a thicker paper, this might cause problems. Other important characteristics are paper curl and friction coefficients, which makes more difference for larger printers than smaller ones.
