Portugal’s forest area is about 1/3 of the country’s territory. Eucalyptus occupies 26% of that area, and 7% of those trees are The Navigator Company’s property. However, pine and cork oak trees also occupy a big part of Portugal’s forests; the cork tree (34%) is even more common than the Eucalyptus and the pine tree (28%) is almost as representative as Eucalyptus.
